Zoom e-Reunion 1Q 2026
We had the 1Q2026 HHS1963 Zoom e-Reunion on Thursday, March 5, beginning at 8
p.m. EST (Huntington) time. There were eleven participants:

The Zoom session went very well and was very, very enjoyable!
It lasted over an hour and a half, and during that time the group discussed many
topics, including:
·
Confusion about how to reply to the greeting, “How are you?”
·
Everyone was surprised and happy to see Ҫağlar!
·
ICE agents in Minneapolis.
·
Lots of discussion about cruises and travel.
·
This website, www.hhs19963.org, is being
revised.
·
Everyone was sad about the passing of John Mason.
·
Our classmates Mary Jo (Ridgeway) ??? and Van Bailey are in Assisted Living
homes. They’re doing “okay,” but have trouble remembering things, like
recognizing who is talking to them.
·
PBS’s recent article on Fort Wayne and discussions on current-day Huntington and
Roanoke.
·
Lots and lots of discussions of Indiana college teams’ sports.
·
Anne’s favorite chainsaw.
·
We had the youngest and oldest classmates on the Zoom session: Bill (Jan 2946)
and Paul (Dec 1948),
·
Ҫağlar told us how she came to Huntington from Turkey, and how much she enjoyed
living there.
·
Anne told us of the time a wild turkey flew into the front grill of her car,
·
Dave described how he captured an iguana that fell from a tree near his home,
and how many Floridians capture iguanas and eat them.
·
People asked if anyone had heard from Carol (Paoletto) McNeal, and no one had.
·
Bill mentioned that he has been in close contact over the Internet with Bill
Priddy, and hopes he will be on the next Zoom e-Reunion.
I’m sure everyone in the session will agree with me when I say I now know these
fellow classmates better than I ever thought I would. It was very inspiring.
The 2Q2026 Zoom e-Reunion is now scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, beginning at 9
p.m. EDT (Huntington) time. I will send
three official invitations to this meeting: one a month, one a week, and one a
day before the meeting.
These invitations/reminders will have the details of how to join the Zoom
meeting, and will be sent from my
billsmart1111@gmail.com email account, not my
webmaster@hhs1963.org email account,
so it will be accepted by all email platforms.
I hope we will get more participants in June, so mark this down on all your
calendars!
