Zoom e-Reunion 3Q 2026

On Wednesday, September 9, starting at 9 p.m. Huntington time, we had another e-Reunion on Zoom. Only six participants joined, but we had a good time, and the meeting lasted over two hours. Below are a screenshot of the meeting and the HHS1963 Yearbook Photos of the participants:

This was the first Zoom e-Reunion for Susan (Maples) Zinsmeister and Susie (Cox) Bandemer.

I thought I had configured the Zoom session to produce a summary of the meeting after it ended, but that didn’t work. I consulted Microsoft AI, CoPilot, to find out what I did wrong, and CoPilot, as usual, diagnosed everything and came up with a solution (in just a few seconds). The “fix” is listed at the end of this summary.

So, my “human” summary is as follows:

·       The meeting started on time at 9 p.m., Huntington time.

·       Roger, Bill, and Susan signed in to the meeting before 9.

·       They were quickly followed by Dave, Anne, and Linda.

·       Tom joined about 10 minutes later

·       Then Cathy joined

·       And lastly, Susie (on her iPhone)

We discussed a large variety of topics, which included:

·       Sea cruises

·       College football (grandkids)

·       Soccer (grandkids)

·       Time at college

·       Others seen recently

·       Changes in downtown Huntington

There were a lot more than these, but because I thought I was going to get an AI summary, I didn’t take notes as I have in the past. Hopefully, I'll fix that for the next e-reunion.

The next Zoom e-reunion will be on Wednesday, November 11, beginning at 9 p.m. Huntington time.

To “fix” the AI summary process, anyone who tries to sign in before I open the meeting (around 8:45 p.m.) will be placed in a Waiting Room until I start the actual meeting. That’s the CoPilot “fix.”

And I hope to see all those who attended this e-reunion in November, and as many of you others as possible!
